CADER continuously seeks to strengthen itself more by keeping its Master Trainers top notch and by refining and consolidating its internal systems of work and its internal structure. To achieve that, in its early years, CADER held a conference entitled Search in the Future of Cultivating a CADERian change agent Code of Honour for CADER’s employees.
The outcomes of this conference were a set of principles, rules, values and strategies for all CADER team members that ensure the overall future development and sustainability of CADER.
The event took place in 2008 in Movenpick Aqaba. The conference was a non-conventional type of workshops, with much interaction and dynamics in small and large groups. CADER staff came up with a shared and common ground called (Code of Honour) that formed the foundation of CADER’s culture.
Code of Honour
The Code of Honour represents a common ground for CADER’s staff, and it is also the basis of its culture, contributing to the sustainability of its work and increasing its team’s capacity and productivity to overcome major challenges that may occur. The Code of Honour unifies all CADERians to flock together within one vision and one destination, so that, a CADERian change agent shall:
- Make continuous efforts to be a self-reflector.
- Exchange constructive and motivational feedback.
- Be responsible for own professional development in response to CADER’s needs.
- Be a self-learner.
- Be a positive thinker who focuses on strengths and appreciative efforts.
- Own up to CADER’s vision, policies, possessions and successes as well as failures.
- Be passionate about own work.
- Communicate clearly, directly, honestly and respectfully.
- Seek creativity in all CADER-related activities.
- Be a team player and maintain a team spirit to achieve CADER’s goals and objectives.
- Be an initiator who assumes responsibility for own initiatives.
- Seek challenges and turn them into opportunities.
- Be a flexible leader who practices what he preaches.
- Commit to continuous quality improvement of CADER’s products and services.
- Plan effectively own tasks and meet all deadlines.
- Never give up.
